Our company is currently building a JAVA development team. We are seeking individuals work to in a development team under the guidance of a Laed Developer. If you like a challenge read on.

You will work with a design team of Business Analysts, Consultants and Technical Architects who use XP and Agile methodologies to develop and deliver software. We will provide the challenge for you to succeed technically while also developing your business and interpersonal skills.

You will be responsible for developing and delivering software components and systems using the latest J2EE technology. You will use development methodology standards to deliver high quality software in a timeline that exceeds customer expectations and work with a team of professionals where flexibility, communication and openness to change, is a minimum requirement.

Skills & Experience

1. Formal third level degree qualification
2. Experience with at least one J2EE application framework for web-based applications.
3. Understanding of Object Oriented Design and Development techniques.
4. RDBMS knowledge required (SQL Server 2000, Oracle, DB2 and/or UDB).
5. Experience with at least one J2EE RAD tool
• Experience with JHeadstart, a big plus
6. Experience with either Sun’s Creator or Oracle’s JDeveloper development tools.
• Experience with JSF and/or ADF a big plus.
7. Experience with the following will be very helpful
• JBoss Application Server
• JBoss Portal
• JBoss jBPM
• Oracle BPEL Process Manager
• LifeRay Portal
• ER Diagramming tools
• UML Diagramming tools
8. Experience using UML on two projects.
9. Experience with a Source Code Control system.
